The practical exam is usually taken at the same time as (or close to) the other two papers (NGC1 + NGC2). The work-place area to be inspected is usally also provided by the examination centre you are sitting with. Alternatively other arrangements can be made i.e. your own work-place may also be acceptable.
NEBOSH Test Centre Fees.
The National General Certificate is no different than any other NEBOSH course - to sit and exam, there is a fee to pay. These fees vary from course to course ranging from £90-£310 in most cases - to find out more please make an enquiry.
NEBOSH exams attract a 'NEBOSH sitting-fee' for all examinations. The cost of the NEBOSH exam-fee is a fixed price and does not attract VAT charges (due to the educational institution TAX laws). However fee's can be very different between test centres. Many test centres add an additional charge for sitting your examination - usually justified as admin fees; or if you are sitting your examination at a British Council especially, these fees are much higher. To avoid large sitting fees we recommend approaching SHEilds Ltd at www.sheilds.org as these fees are always charged at the lowest possible rate and if also studying with SHEilds as your course provider, to sit your exam at a SHEilds venue there are never any additional hidden charges.
